if you feel that awesomemod, and nraas story progression + optional modules are too. Sims 3 nraas - story progression - track every sim in town. there may be other methods out there, but this is what works best for me. to stop story progression, at main menu, go to options (. this will turn off story progression for all saved- games in your current sims 3 folder. in the sims 3 the whole town evolves and grows with you. Update note: the second season of my sims 3 pleasantview lp on youtube just wasn’ t as chaotic and dramatic as the first. Ever since that was changed, I've been playing multiple households per save and I'm very satisfied about how little SP interfereces with my Sims but at the same time keeps the whole world moving.Story progression manual sims 3 By Ana Rodriguez Follow | Public I've never found SP intrusive or annoying, except at the very beginning when it would move your Sims out of town without your consent.

I don't know exactly how it was in Jan 2009, but there's definitely potential for more. When you play with a household, they are set as "protected" and story progression will affect them in minimal, non-intrusive ways (if they have jobs, they'll keep earning money some changes in relationships but nothing as drastic as a divorce, etc). I partially agree with the one family per save file at fist, but around the Late Night or Generations patch story progession was overhauled. That's a been a feature since day 1 (I know because I first I used it before I knew exactly what story progression did I was scared that some of families may disappear). Story progression could always be disabled. I hope one day in a future installment we are able to choose between stopping it completely like TS2 or enable it like sims 3, but with a bit more options for everyone between my end of the spectrum and people who want everything to progress on its own. I dont even want my seasons to progress on lots I dont play due to the sheer amount of families I rotate. I understand many people love SP, but I have no love for it at all. Each lot was in its own little timeline which made it so if I was more interested in some families than others, I would not lose seasonal gameplay and such. Honestly TS2 had my ideal story progression, absolutely none at all. I also play with aging off and do not bother with townies since I enjoy having 100% control over everything lol. Its even worse when you wanna do things like gardening and your seasons are synced up between all your families. I rotationally play 10+ families at any given time and I am a control freak, so story progression just goes against how I enjoy playing. Honestly I hate any kind of story progression in my sims games and I always mod it out as much as possible.
